 Objective The objective is to shoot 60 - 80 images of glass objects and liquid.  The liquid can be static or in motion.  The pour and splash are two categories of liquid in motion. It's important to do a test shot before an actual shot.  The camera that I'm using has portrait mode and creative shot mode.  The creative shot mode allows for multiple versions of a single shot.  Lighting for this exercise will be the same as the first exercise.  The lighting will be placed in front of the glass object at 1/2 power.  Other color lighting will be experimented with. While taking photos of the glass, it was difficult to get most of the reflections from the surrounding light off the shots.  The liquid added more reflections as well.   This photo was among the best ones that I took.  The details of the liquid droplets cover the entire glass.  There is minimal reflection from outside light sources.  Camera was set to ISO 3200, ...

  Objective The objective of this assignment is to shoot a minimum of 60 images of several metal objects.  This exercise will emphasize the quality and strength of the metal.  The composition and lighting must be focused upon. Approach to meet objective It is important to keep in mind all the different camera angles.  The product for the first several images are some metal tools such as screws.  The background is a plain white paper board.  Lighting for this assignment is the Neewer 5600K USB Light with color filters.  This would provide low angle shots.  Also, the camera and the metal objects must take into account the reflective surfaces.  The camera, Canon ELPH 350 HS, has shutter set to 1/2000 -15 sec and max aperture of 3.6.  It has 12x optical zoom lens along with maximum ISO 3200.  The lighting will be approximately a foot away from the subject.  A separate white foam board will be present in order to bounce light of the...
